In conjunction with the 26th memorial anniversary of Dr. Hudson Silva, the founder of the Sri Lanka Eye Donation Society, a number of programs were launched at the Maharagama Apeksha Hospital this year.
A magic show was held for the entertainment of young children receiving treatment at the hospital, a Dhamma sermon, the provision of essential vaccines to patients receiving treatment at the hospital, and a concert held with the music of the Saro musical band led by Udesh Indula were among the highlights.
