We have our own contact lens production plant which is the only one of its kind situated in Sri Lanka and you have been afforded the opportunity of getting your rigid lenses (RGP) turned out with the help of modern technology of Japan. The contact lenses are prepared from acrylic blocks obtained from the United Kingdom.
Measurements are taken from the patient and the contact lens is prepared according to the specifications thereby the fit is accurate.
Special procedures are used to prepare and fit contact lens in special cases like Keratoconus.
The friendship with Japan was established by the Late Dr. Hudson Silva. It was with his help we got officers trained in Japan in this specialized work. They have been given first hand training in grinding and fitting.
Your eyes are being tested by experienced professionals who have undergone their training in Japan. Moreover, it is also possible for you to purchase flexible lenses (Soft) such as Softorics, Prosthetics and Cosmetic at a very nominal rate.
