On 14th September 2023, the 03rd program of “Sisu Nethraloka” was held at Ke/Ethnawala Maha Vidyalaya to identify low-vision students from low-income families and provide them with high-quality spectacles. This school was chosen from a list submitted by the Kegalle District Secretary.
138 students were checked during this program and 47 students identified with low-vision, were given high-quality spectacles later.
Hony. General Secretary and 10 members of Eye Donation Society staff, including an optometrist, participated in this program and they were able to check the eyes of the teachers as well.
