Another program of “Sisu Nethraloka” was held at M/Buddhagosha Maha Vidyalaya on 29th November 2023. This was the 05th program and it was carried out to identify low-vision students from low-income families and to provide them with high-quality spectacles. A team of Eye Donation Society staff, including optometrists, participated in this program.
This school was identified by the District Secretary of Matale for this program.
351 students were checked during this program and 46 students identified with low-vision, were given high-quality spectacles worth Rs.184,000.00 later.
