The 9th program of the “Sisu Nethraloka” program series conducted by the Sri Lanka Eye Donation Society to prepare and provide high-quality distance and near vision improvement glasses for school students with low vision was successfully conducted on 04th July 2024 at Cheddikulam Maha Vidyalaya in Vavuniya District.
The school was selected according to the recommendation of the Vavuniya District Secretary, and the eyes of 486 students studying there were examined. Through that program, high-quality distance and near vision-improving glasses were prepared for 76 students with low vision and delivered to the school on 25th July 2024.
